Eva Pils
Using spaces, reinterpreting, revitalizing. Eva never fails to incorporate her experience as an architect into her work as an illustrator, painter, and designer. A common underlying theme is minimization. She illustrates all of Austria on a postage stamp, lovingly dissects the Styrian town of Eisenerz into its component parts and designs the suitable frame for a birdhouse. She skillfully combines diverse forms, from animation to interior design, with wit and finesse. Eva has worked from her studio in Graz for four years; she works individually and participates in interdisciplinary project teams.
